Watch the full documentary “Nepal Rises” at nepalrises.com Effect.org was one of the first filmmakers shooting the earthquake since they were based in Nepal and India. Within 24 hours their drone was capturing dramatic footage of the destruction.
A quick edit of some aerial drone footage shot over Kathmandu and Annapurna in Nepal. We did a short trek to Poon Hill which is part of the Annapurna circuit, and I flew the Phantom at Ghandruk and Tadapani villages.
The Manakamana Temple in Gorkha, the Gorkha Durbar, the Palanchowk Bhagwati, in Kavrepalanchowk, the Rani Mahal in Palpa, the Janaki Mandir in Janakpur, the Churiyamai in Makwanpur, the Dolakha Bhimsensthan in Dolakha, and the Nuwakot Durbar were partially destroyed.
